Your Halaxy Classic account is protected by your username (your email address) and your password known only to you. Along with bank-grade security and encryption, password security is essential to protecting your information.
Setting your password
You can set your password in two ways:
1. When you sign up: you are asked to set and re-enter your password when you first sign up to Halaxy Classic (see [http://halaxy.com/classic); and
2. On the Users page: see Changing your password, below.
Changing your password
You can change your password on the Users page. First click the Profile tab, and select the Personal menu link. Clicking on the Users tab takes you to the Users page, where you can click the Set Password button. For security purposes, you must enter your current password, then enter and re-enter your new password. Click Change password to save your new password.
What to do if you forget your password
If you forget your password, you can reset your password when you log in. Click the Login/Sign up button on the Halaxy Classic homepage, and then click the Reset Password link.
Setting passwords for new users in your group
Practice owners and receptionists with full clinical access set the first passwords of new users, when they add them to the practice group. New users can then change their passwords to something more memorable by clicking the the Set Password button (see above).
